SAPPPA IQC (South Africa PEPFAR Partner Performance Assessment)

Khulisa holds a five-year, US$14.2 million contract with the USG Centers for Disease Control to conduct Performance Assessments of selected PEPFAR/South Africa programs. Over the life of this project, CDC can request up to 60 performance assessments (PAs) of PEPFAR-funded implementing partners (IP) annually.

The intention of the PAs is to support program accountability by providing independent assessments of the management and administration of PEPFAR programs. The PAs also will report on IP adherence to the US and South African Governments’ (SAG) policies and guidelines.

The PAs will assess program management and implementation; identify opportunities for improvement; pinpoint areas where technical assistance is needed; and provide information on how partners are adhering to program work plans.
