Khulisa completed research and a thematic study for the World Bank to identify the current best and promising practices for governance, management and accountability in South Africa, Zambia, and Senegal. The study identified:
- What are the needs for governance, management and accountability at (a) central, (b) provincial or district, and c) school and classroom levels and how these can be improved?
- How can decentralisation policy decision making improve the effectiveness and efficiency of secondary education delivery?
- How can ICT improve decentralised secondary school-based management and accountability for learning outcomes?
