The data warehouse provides a secure web-based portal for PEPFAR partners to capture their periodic (either quarterly or six-monthly) progress reports for achievement towards their indicator targets. It allows partners to extract historic data for analysis and reporting requirements. The USG uses the data warehouse to monitor the progress of the PEPFAR partners and calculate aggregate totals of overall achievement towards indicator targets. The data warehouse also provides a portal for PEPFAR partners to capture their annual Country Operational Plan (COP), which describes the activities and targets for the next fiscal year. While the data warehouse initially focused more on capturing programmatic reporting data, it is being enhanced to provide better outbound features such as query builders, analysis tools, on-line graphing and mapping features so that stakeholders increase the data utilization for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
