Ms. Bisgard co-founded Khulisa Management Services in 1993. An expert in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and organisational development, Ms. Bisgard leads assignments in the Education, Early Childhood Development, and Health sectors. Prior to establishing Khulisa, Ms. Bisgard was a senior education specialist at USAID/Pretoria for five years. She was responsible for the identification, negotiation and implementation of two major basic education initiatives involving grants to over 100 NGOs. In addition, she assisted USAID in strategic planning and liaising with donors and stakeholders in the field of education in South Africa. Ms. Bisgard was also the founding Chairperson of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA) from November 2005 to March 2007. She has a BA with honours in Political Science from the University of Michigan and an MA in Social Change and Development from Johns Hopkins University.
Ms. Weber has been a Consultant to KMS Global (Khulisa Management Services) since 2009. She has extensive experience in a broad range of international development areas, most recently in the creation of public-private partnerships. She is an expert in strategic planning and performance monitoring. Ms. Weber had a long career with USAID, including Mission and Deputy Mission Director positions, and continues to consult for USAID, the U.S. Department of State and other firms and NGOs in areas such as strategic planning and project management and implementation, as well as emergency disaster assistance. Ms. Weber has worked with the Department of State on Climate Change and other technology transfer issues. She holds a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, an M.A. in International Relations from Syracuse University's Maxwell School and a Masters in City Planning for Developing Countries from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.). She was also a Visiting Fellow at M.I.T.'s Sloan School of Management.
Mr. Ravenscroft is currently involved in projects that draw on his expertise in Monitoring and Evaluation, Statistics, Data Quality Audits, and Database Systems and Development. He has been involved in the evaluation of the quality of data submitted to the South African Department of Education through their Management Information System, as well as in the South African PEPFAR data warehouse project. Additionally Mr. Ravenscroft has been involved in a review of the Management Information Systems that are employed by select Ministries of Education in the SADC region to determine whether key data and their processes associated with Care and Support of Learner and Teachers are available. Programme stake holders include key UN agencies such as UNICEF and UNESCO. Mr. Ravenscroft is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
Ms. Wyatt is a Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) expert who works primarily on private sector, economic development and education initiatives. She is currently a Senior Associate at Khulisa providing expertise and support to a variety of development projects and leading the business development division. She is currently mentoring Khulisa's full time M&E Specialist at the USAID-funded Financial Sector Program, an initiative aimed to increase access to finance for SMEs in South Africa. Other Khulisa assignments include designing monitoring tools for the South African Department of Education as well as performing Data Quality Audits. Prior to joining Khulisa, she worked for Enablis Entrepreneurial Network, an NGO that supports entrepreneurs and small business owners in South Africa and East Africa. She was responsible for programme monitoring and strategic planning as well as setting up the M&E logical framework and relevant tools for the launch of the East Africa chapter. Ms. Wyatt holds an MA in Rural Development from the University of Sussex (UK), a B.A. in Economics, and a B. Physical and Health Education from Queen’s University (Canada).
Ms. Dzula joined Khulisa as researcher in July 2010. To date she has contributed to the Social Impact and Performance Assessments of seven Coca-Cola Africa Foundation Partners and the Education Management Information System (EMIS) Survey Project for South Africa’s National Department of Education. Prior to working for Khulisa, Ms. Dzula conducted Monitoring & Evaluation for
Mr. Mongalo is a professional experinced educator who joined Khulisa as a researcher and fieldwork coordinator. He has been involved in various aspects of research and collected data for various projects such as the DoE Early Childhood Development Pilot Project, Teenage Solutions, Love Life HIV School Pilot project,Reducing Exploitive Child Labour in Southern Africa (RECLISA) and Care and Support of Teaching and Learning (CSTL) project implemented by MIET Africa for SADC.He currently manage all aspects of fieldwork and provide technical tasks in various divisions.He speaks 7 South African official languages.
Ms. Ramashamole joined Khulisa in 2010 as an intern. She is currently completing her Masters of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree where she majored in Biochemistry and Psychology. She has also completed her Bachelor of Science degree with Honours in Industrial Psychology. She has received academic merit awards for both her bachelors degree and her honours degree. Her previous research has been focused on the psychological wellbeing of employees approaching retirement age, as well as the career barriers of black women in middle management.
Mr. Sloan joined Khulisa as a member of the junior technical staff in 2010. He completed his degree in statistics with distinction at the University of the
