Khulisa Management Services is seeking a self-directed, M&E Associate to join our Johannesburg Team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual passionate about international development.
The Associate will contribute to evaluation, monitoring, research, and learning for the Education and Development Division. The position requires technical and project management skills and experience. Specifically, the Division requires an Associate who is able to conduct quantitative and qualitative data analysis. The role will include development of evaluation research instruments; collecting and compiling data; data management; establishing data management systems; quality assurance of data; training of fieldworkers; interpreting data; and writing project proposals, evaluation frameworks and evaluation reports. The associate must be willing to travel and work in a dynamic consultancy environment, across assignments and international clients.
Qualifications/Experience
- Master’s in International Development, Economics, Social Sciences, Education, Public Administration or other related fields
- Minimum 4 years of relevant International development experience in monitoring and evaluation, data analysis, reporting and research or related area
- Experience in international organizations or non-profit organizations is an asset
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
- Ability to use statistical packages for data analysis such as STATA, SPSS or R is highly desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Other African languages are an asset
