Khulisa is seeking a qualified digital marketer/communications to work in a full time capacity in their Johannesburg office. Applicants need to have a minimum of three years’ experience managing the website and/or social media pages of another organization that they can show as samples of work.

DIGITAL MARKETER (full time employment)

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Khulisa’s website and social media pages
• Writing blogs, articles, newsletters and other content for the website, social media, and other streams of digital marketing
• Ensuring search engine optimization
• Tracking digital metrics and strategizing to increase online engagement
• Assisting in Khulisa’s Thought Leadership and brand building activities

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in marketing, communications, writing or other related fields
• At least 3 years’ experience supporting any organization’s digital marketing platforms (evidenced by website and/or social media pages)
• Excellent English writing skills for the purpose of blogs and short articles
• An eye for design and an ability to improve the “look and feel” of a website and/or social media page
• A hard-working attitude

Qualifications Preferred

• Experience in non-profit/international development
• Experience working in the USA or with a USA-based client
