Proficiency in English and Russian required
Must be based in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan or the region
Subject Matter Expert: Community Policing (Mid-level)
- Relevant degree and years of relevant experience:
- PhD with 4-7 years’ relevant experience; or
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master’s with 5-9 years’ relevant experience; or
- Bachelor’s with 8-14 years’ relevant experience
- Extensive technical competence in community policing;
- Experience working in Central Asia, and/or former Soviet Union;
- Proficiency in Russian;
- Knowledgeable about ethnicities and cultures in Central Asia and its history of security problems and lack of trust between the public and security personnel;
- Able to provide technical support for research, data analysis, training, capacity building and tool development.
- Gender analysis and report writing
- Preferably based in Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan or the region.
Evaluators/Researchers (Senior-level)(Two positions)
- Must be based in Kyrgyzstan or Tajikistan (please specify in application);
- Relevant degree and years of relevant experience:
- PhD with 8+ years’ relevant experience; or
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Master’s with 10+ years’ relevant experience; or
- Bachelor’s with 15+ years’ relevant experience
- Experience working in Central Asia, and/or former Soviet Union;
- Proficiency in Russian;
- Extensive experience in professional research and data collection, including conducting literature reviews, collecting/cleaning data, analysis and report writing
- Gender analysis skills (preferred).
- Technical competence in community policing highly advantageous.
