Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary degree + specialist training essential
  • 5 to 10 years in-depth knowledge and relevant experience,
  • At least 5 years in a senior management role leading a team
  • Expert knowledge of Excel essential
  • Responsible to provide quality, timely and verified data and analysis of data to support monitoring and evaluation
  • Responsible for sourcing and collating of quality, timely and relevant internal and external data for different programmes.
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of:
    • how to effectively clean data
    • Data mining, including integrating disparate data sets
    • how to program in R and how to use R for effective data analysis; alternatively how to program in Python
    • statistical analysis, including regression
    • auditing of data systems
  • Developing data repositories and tools

This MIS concerns information about Unaccompanied and Separated Children of Syrian Refugees in Jordan, and participated in the development of the Gender-Based Violence MIS System.

    I have taken care of the project design and development of a computer information system for the Community Based Organizations which is operational in more than 110 centers in 5 areas of UNRWA operations namely Jordan, Gaza, West Bank, Syria and Lebanon.

    I had also taken care of the project design and development of the Micro-Lending System which aim to provide local communities with loans in form of individual, Islamic and Groups. I was in-charge of the deployment and implementation of this system in CBO centers in the 5 areas of UNRWA operations.

    Between years 2007 through 2013, I participated in the project phases (Envisioning, Business Analysis, Design, Testing, Training, Maintenance and Post implementation) of one of the most complex MIS system projects in the Middle East which was comprised of three sub systems, Registration, Social Safety Net and Document Management System.

    I have 7 years of experience in military and governmental hospitals in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and most of my experience was focused on Information technology, patients’ admission and discharge processing, medical records and data collection and reporting

    Although my university study was in Computer & Information technology, I have developed good knowledge in community Relief and Social needs, and made good relationships with Local community members.
