Khulisa seeks a qualified and experienced Team Lead/Senior Evaluation Specialist for a Power Africa Senior Advisors Group (SAG) program. The Team Leader will be responsible for the evaluation design, analyzing evaluation data, presentation of findings and recommendations, and writing the final report. The Team Lead will oversee the coordination of activities, arrange periodic meetings, and consolidate individual input from team.
This is a 5-month consultancy opportunity based in South Africa and contingent upon a project award to Khulisa.
Qualifications
- Masters in Development Studies/Evaluation and/or Energy studies.
- Minimum 10 years of work experience in Energy/Development programs in developing countries.
- Minimum eight years of experience in implementing program evaluations with some level of research expertise, in the energy sector and in Sub-Saharan Africa.
- Experience in conducting evaluations/assessments and a strong familiarity with power/energy programs in emerging markets.
- Managing and implementing evaluation in line with USAID Evaluation Policy and requirements.
- Experience in leading Evaluation Teams.
- Excellent oral and written skills in English are required.
- Fluency or working knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
