Khulisa is recruiting food commodity management experts for an anticipated USAID/Commodity Management Review in Ethiopia.
Qualifications/Experience
- Sc. or master’s degree in a social science discipline such as Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, or another field relevant to Commodity Review and Assessment.
- 5 years+ of experience with data collection procedures, surveys, and analysis and interpretation of databases and managing the logistics of Evaluation, Assessments, and Reviews.
- Experience in overseeing and leading field supervisors and enumerators; coordinating field logistics, schedules, and equipment; and managing the data collection and data quality control in the field.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to interact with Ethiopians and expatriates, including fluency in the regional languages (Oromiya and Somali regions).
Responsibilities
- Undertake quantitative and qualitative data collection (e.g., interviews, surveys, FGDs, direct observation, secondary sources).
- Perform data analysis, synthesis, and reporting work as directed by the Team Leader.
- Coordinate, plan, manage and supervise the commodity review.
- Ensure data collection meet the requirements of standard practices and quality requirements.
- Serve as key member of the Commodity Management Review Team.
Khulisa will only contact candidates that meet the above requirements. This is not a full-time job opportunity. Consultant/s will be hired for 3 to 4 months only to complete the evaluation assessment in Ethiopia.
