SHORT TERM TECHNICAL OPPORTUNITY

Applicants must be based in Uganda

This is a short-term opportunity suited for Independent Consultants with proven experience with DQAs in Uganda

Task: To conduct biannual data quality audits (DQAs) on selected public health indicators
in 16 districts in Uganda.

Applicants who are currently employed full-time will not be considered for this opportunity.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree, preferably in Public Health or equivalent
• 5-10 years relevant professional experience in M&E, strategic information management, data quality assessments/audits
• Knowledge of donor especially PEPFAR and USAID funded programs, M&E, reporting requirements, and DQA tools and standards
• Knowledge of DQA tools, standards, processes and requirements
• Knowledge of Uganda MOH current health management information systems
• Experience with conducting DQAs in the Uganda Health Sector

Anticipated start date:  mid-2018

Expected LOE = 2 rounds each year for 2 years – estimated 18 workdays per round
