Khulisa is pursuing a major USAID Education & Data project.  

 

Multiple positions are available:

  • Long-term, full-time positions based in Washington, D.C. U.S
  • Short-term, part-time assignments for international consultants in countries hosting USAID Missions

 

Requirements essential for ALL POSITIONS:

  • Extensive knowledge of USAID programs/project requirements
  • Excellent written and oral communication, analytical, and project management skills required

 


 

1. Education Data Management Specialist (Full-Time, Long-Term)

 

  • Relevant Masters/PhD in economics, statistics, development, MEL, etc
  • 10+ years relevant experience in MEL, focus on data collection, quality, analysis/assessment
  • 5+ years managing large and multi-sector development projects
  • Experience with data quality, performance monitoring, and data analysis

2. Education MEL Specialist / Researcher (Full- or Part-Time, Mid & Senior Levels)

 

  • Relevant Masters/PhD in education, economics, MEL, development, etc.
  • 5-10+ years relevant experience in MEL in the education sector
  • 5-10+ years experience managing education projects
  • Experience with causal model development, monitoring, impact evaluations, data collection methods, and evaluation of development projects
  • Experience with various analysis and evaluation methodologies, monitoring tools, and data management information systems, including secondary data and data quality

 

3. Education Statistician (Full- or Part-Time, Mid & Senior Levels)

 

  • Relevant degree in Statistics or similar field
  • 5-10+ years relevant experience in statistics and data management
  • Experience with various analysis methodologies, monitoring tools, and data management information
  • Macroeconomic, cost-benefit, domestic resource cost, public financial management and/or cost-effectiveness analyses experience
  • Randomized controlled trials, inclusive growth diagnostics experience

 

4. Education Knowledge Management & Learning Specialist (Full- or Part-Time, Mid & Senior)

 

  • Relevant Masters/PhD degree
  • 5-10+ years relevant experience in knowledge management & organizational learning
  • Internal Change Management for USAID Collaborating, Learning, and Adapting (CLA) experience
  • In-depth understanding of knowledge management principles and activity design and delivery
  • Conduct analyses and needs assessment of organizational culture and time management studies to track and develop organizational learning and change.
  • Familiarity with developing learning agendas, stakeholder engagement, collaboration and sharing
