On September 24, South Africa celebrates Heritage Day: a day where South Africans display pride in their cultural heritage by dressing in traditional garb. As we celebrate this day, we should also pause and reflect on the ongoing separation of families from their homes and heritage due to global human trafficking.

Khulisa evaluators, Margie Roper and Heather Dixon alongside other authors published a thoughtful piece in the Maverick Citizen on remembering migrants and trafficked victims who yearn for their home.
