We are intrigued by the concept of sustainment, since sustainability is so often a concern of our clients and partners. This paper, by Eric Sarriot and Reeti Desai Hobson, proposes a sustainment index for health projects, using one simple metric. In another resource, the principle is applied in a sustainability evaluation three years after an urban health project in Bangladesh.
