Often #evaluators do not use secondary sources of data, for this reason Khulisa likes the Global Burden of Disease data and how it’s visualised! It allows evaluators to access secondary sources of data on health risks, deaths per 100,000 citizens by gender, age and location.
This resource, created by the University of Washington’s Institute of Health Monitoring & Evaluation, can be used to visualize select regions/countries’ health data according to burden of disease and explore different diseases causes (metabolic, behavioural and environmental) and allows you to download data based on your custom visualization.
