Prof. Murapa was a visionary leader in African affairs, playing a pivotal role in the development of the Southern African Development Community (SADC) and serving as Executive Dean of CIDA City University in Johannesburg. He was the founding Vice Chancellor and CEO of Africa University in Mutari, Zimbabwe; set up the Institute of Peace, Leadership, and Governance (IPLG) at Africa University; and served as Inter-regional Advisor to the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, among many other accomplishments.
Prof. Murapa will be sorely missed, not only by Khulisa but by all of Africa and the world. The Khulisa team extends our heartfelt condolences to Prof. Murapa’s family and friends.
