March 8th was International Women’s Day (IWD) and the 2022 theme for the day was “Break the Bias”. As the IWD website says: “Knowing that bias exists isn’t enough, action is needed to level the playing field.”
Khulisa recognizes the importance of a level playing field for women: More than 85% of our staff members and the majority of our management team are women.

But Khulisa also recognizes our work isn’t finished. Breaking the bias means continuing to strive for: more inclusivity and intersectionality across gender, race, and ethnicity; better pay and benefits for women and their families; and establishing the most welcoming workplace for all women. We’ll continue to do the work, this Women’s Day and every day going forward.
