Purpose of Project:

Khulisa Management Services is seeking qualified and available independent consultants to form part of our pool of candidates for an upcoming USAID proposal covering Southern Africa.

 

The objective of the potential project is to support USAID programs in 14 Southern Africa countries with comprehensive technical and advisory services in:

  • Monitoring Services
  • Evaluation and Assessment Services
  • Collaborating, Learning and Adapting Services
  • Knowledge Management Services

 

Skill & experience required:

  • Conduct a Knowledge Audit focused on USAID/Southern Africa:
    • Knowledge needs analysis involving questionnaires; focus group discussions;
    • interviews with key stakeholders; and workshops.
    • Knowledge inventory analysis to cover workflow and business processes analysis;
    • content analysis; and IT systems analysis
    • Knowledge flow analysis
    • Knowledge mapping
  • Establishing a reward system to recognize staff for sharing knowledge through formalized incentives.
  • Establish After Action Learning processes to enable strategic planning teams to benefit from and pass on lessons learned.
  • Maintain USAID’s Intranet.
  • Experience in knowledge management and organizational learning in development.
  • Possess in-depth understanding of knowledge management / Library science principles
  • Previous experience linking content development and engagement strategies that facilitate the delivery of information through learning platforms and activities with USG policies
  • In-country work experience in at least one of the following: Angola, Botswana, Comoros, Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Seychelles, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe:
