Khulisa seeks a qualified and experienced Country Lead for a Porticus proposal for the Monitoring Evaluation and Learning Partnership for Porticus-funded Programmes “Children in Displacement” AND/OR “Children on the Margin”. If awarded, this will be a multi-year consultancy working with country-level and programme-level grantees on programme learning.

Must be based in one of these countries: Kenya, Uganda, India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Haiti, Lebanon, and Jordan. 

Qualifications/Experience

  • Masters Degree
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience in International Development programs in developing countries
  • Minimum eight years of experience in implementing program evaluations with some level of research expertise, in the children in displacement or children on the margin sector
  • Experience in leading Evaluation Teams
  • Excellent oral and written skills in English are required
  • Fluency or working knowledge of the local language will be an added advantage
  • Must be based in one of these countries: Kenya, Uganda, India, Bangladesh, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Haiti, Lebanon and Jordan

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the project in country
  • Provide and implement technical expertise
  • Communication and liaison with grantees
  • Communication and reporting to Khulisa
  • Documenting and providing monitoring evidence
  • Facilitating the coordination and review of the TOC and strategy with relevant stakeholders and partners/grantees
  • Bringing the contextualization into the TOC and strategy
  • Setting up the structure to implement the strategy in country
  • Contribute to the design of the programme evaluation
  • Manage, coordinate and be responsible for the programme evaluation activities in country
  • Ensure adherence to financial processes, reporting, accountability and due diligence
