Consultancy Position

Clinician: Public health
work in HIV, TB and/or Malaria

Experience required in southern, eastern or western Africa.

Experienced clinician with extensive experience working in health facilities and large-scale surveys.  Fluent in English and French or Spanish or Portuguese.
Must be fully available for consulting work (not full time employed).

Requirements:

• Medical degree or Registered Nurse or equivalent.
• 5+ years’ experience working in health facilities including managing patient records and disease registers, and knowledge of medical terminology;
• 5+ years’ experience in international public health work in HIV, TB and/or malaria;
• Experience with health facility assessments, data quality reviews or other similar large-scale surveys;
• Experience working with international teams and dealing in a culturally appropriate manner with a range of stakeholders, from high level government officials to community members;
• Excellent analytical, writing and presentation skills;
• Fluency in written and spoken English and French, Spanish or Portuguese.
• Experience working in either southern, eastern or western Africa.
